In showcase I have been doing art flags.

I have done plenty of drawings and only a bit of patterns I use dye and vivid and lots of tape. I had to mix some colours using the dye.

Name angle measuring

In maths I have been working on Geometry - measuring Angles.

 I have done a Hexagon matching puzzle, Name angle measuring art, Protractor golf, and a beginners measuring angles activity.

 This is a photo of my name angle art. For this piece of work I had to write my names using a ruler, and using straight lines. Then we had to measure the all the angles in our name using protractors

I found this

tricky because sometimes there were so many angles to measure it got confusing.

Mixed and improper fractions

For Maths we did mixed and improper fractions it was really easy at the start because I had Ahmed's help but at the last question was really hard and it took days. And this day after looking at the short division I saw it says divison relate to remainders and mixed farctions me and Ahmed work it out.

Persuasive speech

For writing we wrote a persuasive speech for our class. I found it hard because of the topic that i chose and i also found it hard again because of what i have to write. But it was easy because i go to ESOL and Mrs Borcher help's me. After  a few days we had to present it to the class. I didn't present it to the instead i presented to mr's Dane.

Mrs Graham told us to do a animating presentation called kensuke's kingdom It was so fun to create but the places were hard the animate was also hard from the start but when i got help it was way easier than i thought. Check this animation out.

Show don't tell

In September 13 Mrs Graham set us on a task called trust activity in the waiting tree. We did it so we can trust other people. It was scary but fun. All what I don't like is my buddy because It's a girl. I found it hard because you have to wear a blindfold.

how to draw a heart faced dog

Today as our class is planning what to do we decided to play a game. First we got put into groups of two then partner A will get a picture of a heart faced dog. After that partner A will tell partner B the instructions of how to draw it. When partner B finished we wrote the instructions and post it on our blog.

when we draw to dog it was too noisy so partner B didn't turn the heart upside down/he draw a capital n.

Persuasive writing

This is my writing Evidence.

I found this hard because I had to research for facts.

I need to give more evidence for each reason. Write at least two sentences for each reason.

Place value

This is my maths evidence.

I found this easy because it was addition and subtraction.

I need to challenge myself to do harder work.

Vocabulary matching

This is my reading evidence.   In this activity I was matching new vocabulary to its meaning.

I found this hard because some words I did not know what they meant.

Next time I could use a dictionary or use google to find the meanings.

Maths Blog Post

In Maths we do maths with the teacher  which is we learn Maths with the teacher. We also do Follow-Up-Activity. We also do NZCM which is actually called New-Zealand curriculum mathematics. We go on our trays to see what page were doing in the book. We also do maintenance were we get a paper on one of the trays and we put it in our book. We also do Maths Blog Post which we go on a device and write were doing for Maths.

what i dead at reading is i made a big story about landslide of me and my sister and i did a follow up activity of teenagers playing sports and i did another follow up activity of children cooking using a puia and more follow ups i wrote a story of animals and another follow up that are kids selling apples and another follow up is i wrote how are fern in charlotes web and the girl in opo summer
